My own brother stabbed me – I am a Muslim
by Taheseen Khan
I could fight the enemy even if it were my own neighbour. How does one fight one’s own brother ?
Being mercilessly killed everywhere, lately it was my own brother who stabbed me. That the attack came from my brother, was the deepest stab in my heart. They then slowly turned the knife, while in; before they trampled me and ran tanks over my body. At some places, they set my still faintly breathing body on fire. And if that was not enough, they declared that I was a man with no identity, but labeled me a ‘terrorist’ and won’t allow my dear ones to bury me.
I am dead for them, but I am alive (with) Allah.
While I have achieved my status; justice awaits my murderers.
